Surprise, surprise I’m late to updating you all on my life yet again.
Quick hits:
Steph and I travel nursed in San Diego over the winter.
I worked in the ER at Palomar Medical Center.
Steph worked in the pediatric unit at Kaiser Medical Center.
We lived downtown near Petco Park.
We found out San Diego has LOTS of breweries.
We sampled many beers at said breweries.
Winters in San Diego > basically any other place
Ok to start you’ll see a bit of our apartment and how Steph quickly turned it into her personal Paella factory.
Owning a paella pan that can feed the five thousand was a “priority”
The locals told us this was the coldest winter they’ve experienced in a long time. We didn’t consider 65 degrees in January “cold” so we got out and explored as much as possible. Here’s a few of our favorite walks/hikes we enjoyed.

Tried our hand at rollerblading. Steph cruised along like California native. I needed knee pads, a helmet, elbow pads, a chin strap and a cup.

We truly had an awesome time out here. Our relationship grew in ways I didn’t think possible, had a great work experience AND we made some really fun memories along the way. We’ll be back San Diego!
